Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and inparticular the first paragraph of Article 156 thereof,

deliberando conformemente alla procedura di cui all'articolo 251 del trattato (3),

Acting in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 251 of theTreaty (3),

(1) considerando che l'elenco indicativo dei progetti di interesse comunestabilito dalla decisione n. 1254/96/CE (4) dev'essere aggiornato periodicamente in funzione dello sviluppo delle reti interconnesse nel settore dell'energia all'interno e all'esterno della Comunità e tenendo conto del processo di allargamento e, più in generale, del rafforzamento delle relazioni energetiche con i paesi terzi;

(1) Whereas the indicative list of projects of common interest established by Decision No 1254/96/EC (4) needs to be updated periodically in line with developments in interconnected energy networks both inside and outside the Community and taking account of the enlargement process and, more generally, the strengthening of energy links with third countries;

(2) considerando che è necessario modificare la descrizione di alcuni progetti d'interesse comune figuranti su questo elenco;

(2) Whereas the descriptions of some projects of common interest currently featuring on the list need to be modified;

(3) considerando che bisogna aggiungere nuovi progetti all'elenco,

HANNO ADOTTATO LA PRESENTE DECISIONE:

Articolo 1

L'elenco indicativo dei progetti d'interesse comune figurante nell'allegato della decisione n. 1254/96/CE è modificato come segue:

The indicative list of projects of common interest set out in the Annex to Decision No 1254/96/EC shall be amended as follows:

1) I punti c 6, c 8, f 1, g 7 e h 11 sono modificati conformemente all'allegato 1 della presente decisione.

1. points c 6, c 8, f 1, g 7 and h 11 shall be amended as indicated in Annex I to this Decision;

2) Sono inseriti i punti figuranti nell'allegato II della presente decisione.

2. the points set out in Annex II to this Decision shall be added.

La presente decisione entra in vigore il giorno della pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale delle Comunità europee.

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
