| visto il regolamento (CE) n. 1592/2002, del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio, del 15 luglio 2002, recante regole comuni nel settore dell'aviazione civile e che istituisce un'Agenzia europea per la sicurezza aerea(1), in particolare l'articolo 6, paragrafo 2, | Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1592/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2002 on common rules in the field of civil aviation and establishing a European Aviation Safety Agency(1), and in particular Article 6(2) thereof, |

| (1) L'articolo 6, paragrafo 1, del regolamento (CE) n. 1592/2002, dispone che i prodotti, le parti e le pertinenze siano conformi ai requisiti per la protezione ambientale previsti all'allegato 16 della convenzione internazionale per l'aviazione civile (in prosieguo "convenzione di Chicago") nella versione del novembre 1999, fatte salve le appendici. | (1) Article 6(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1592/2002 requires products, parts and appliances to comply with the environmental protection requirements of Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (hereinafter Chicago Convention) as issued in November 1999, except for its Appendices. |
| (2) La convenzione di Chicago ed i suoi allegati sono stati variati a partire da quando si č adottato il regolamento (CE) n. 1592/2002 che richiede l'adattamento del suo articolo 6, paragrafo 1, in conformitā alla procedura prevista all'articolo 54, paragrafo 3, del medesimo regolamento. | (2) The Chicago Convention and its annexes have been amended since the adoption of Regulation (EC) No 1592/2002 requiring adaptation of Article 6(1) thereof in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 54(3) of the same Regulation. |

| All'articolo 6 del regolamento (CE) n. 1592/2002, il paragrafo 1 č sostituito dal seguente: | In Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 1592/2002, the first paragraph is replaced by the following: |
| "1. I prodotti, le parti e le pertinenze sono conformi ai requisiti per la protezione ambientale previsti nell'allegato 16 della convenzione di Chicago, del marzo 2002 per il volume I e del novembre 1999 per il volume II, fatte salve le appendici all'allegato 16." | "1. Products, parts and appliances shall comply with the environmental protection requirements contained in Annex 16 to the Chicago Convention as issued in March 2002 for Volume I and November 1999 for Volume II, except for the Appendices to Annex 16." |
